University of Utah Study Center Timeline 


The University of Utah has many milestones to achieve over the duration of the Study among our three Study locations. Our staff will be working with Study participants and the public to accomplish these goals.

University of Utah chosen as Study Center
2005 - 2008
University of Utah Study Center established
July 2008
Neighborhood assessment in Salt Lake County
Spring 2009
Enrollment of Study participants begins in Salt Lake County
Fall 2009
First National Children's Study births in Salt Lake County
Fall 2010
Neighborhood assessment will begin in Cache County and Bear Lake, Lincoln, and Uinta Counties
Winter/Spring 2011
Enrollment of Study participants will begin in Cache County and Bear Lake, Lincoln, and Uinta Counties
Summer 2011
First National Children's Study births in Cache County and Bear Lake, Lincoln, and Uinta Counties
Spring 2014
Enrollment in Salt Lake County will be completed
Spring 2015
Enrollment in Cache County and Bear Lake, Lincoln, and Uinta Counties will be completed
2012 - 2014
First results available about children's health

Data collection will be completed on Study participants in all University of Utah locations
