Utah Cancer Action Network Coordinator, Valley Mental Health
Nano came to Utah in 1972 (with a brand new Master’s in Health Administration from the University of Colorado and a new husband), for a job with the Great Salt Lake Health Planning Council. She has lived here ever since, raised three children, and to date is still looking forward to grandchildren. Nano speaks rusty Spanish (she was a Peace Corps volunteer in Panama in the mid-1960s), and has worked in education, collaborative-building/community development, and children’s mental health. She is the acting and incoming chair of the Salt Lake Valley Health Department. Nano looks forward to the realization of this project and its results.
