The North Carolina Study Center is currently funded to conduct the National Children’s Study in five counties in North Carolina. Study activities were funded in 2005 for Duplin County, which was selected as one of the initial locations where the Study began in January 2009. In addition to Duplin County, future sites for the North Carolina Study Center include Burke County, Durham County, Rockingham County, and Cumberland County.
