The goal of the Community Advisory Boards is to involve the communities of each of the Southern and Central California (SCCA) Study Center locations with the National Children's Study. We recognize that each community is unique; the Community Advisory Boards help the Study Center make sure that each community's perspectives, interests, and needs are respected and represented during the planning and implementation of the Study.
Each Study location in the SCCA Study Center will regularly hold Community Advisory Board meetings. These boards, made up of community members, organizations, and representatives, shape the knowledge base of Study staff and provide invaluable information about their communities.
See the Orange County Vanguard Center Community Advisory Board page for more information. More details about the Community Advisory Boards for our other locations will be available in the future.
