Orange County Vanguard Center Celebrates One Year in the Field (April 2010)
April 25th marked our official 1-year anniversary in the field in Orange County. We would like to thank our many participants and community supporters for their help with our Study launch in 2009. We have had extraordinary success over the last year in spreading the word about the NCS in Orange County and could not have done it without your help! We are certain that with your valuable input we will succeed in our overall pursuit - to better the lives of America's children.
Orange County Vanguard Center Started Recruitment (April 2009)
Participant recruitment for the Orange County Vanguard Center began in April of 2009.
Local Study staff have begun to visit homes in various neighborhoods across Orange County to invite eligible women to join the Study. Eventually, the National Children's Study will enroll more than 1,200 children and their families throughout Orange County in this important study of children's health, growth, and development.
