Welcome to the Orange County Vanguard Center (OCVC)

The OCVC, one of the initial National Children’s Study Vanguard locations, was established in 2005.  It leads the implementation of the Study in Orange County, California. The OCVC combines the expertise and leadership of research organizations throughout Orange County. 

Orange County was chosen as one of the first locations for the National Children’s Study because of its location, the people who live here, and the number of children born here each year. Including Orange County in the National Children’s Study will help to ensure that the Study represents all of America’s children.
