Community Advisory Boards

The goal of Community Advisory Boards is to involve the communities of each of the New York-Northern New Jersey NCS Center locations with the National Children’s Study. Community Advisory Boards help the Center make sure that each community’s perspectives, interests, and needs are respected and represented during the planning and implementation of the Study.

Each Study location in the New York-Northern New Jersey NCS Center will regularly hold Community Advisory Board meetings. These boards, made up of community members, organizations, and representatives, shape the knowledge base of Study staff and provide invaluable information about their communities.
