Recruitment for the National Children’s Study will begin for the New York-Northern New Jersey NCS Center in early 2009 at the Queens Vanguard Center. Study staff will visit homes in various neighborhoods of Queens to invite eligible women to join the Study. Eventually, the Study will enroll more than 1,000 children and their families throughout Queens in this important study of children’s health, growth, and development.
Future Study locations in New York-Northern New Jersey NCS Center include: Nassau County, Manhattan, Passaic County, Monroe County, Brooklyn, Middlesex County, and Warren County. Together, with other locations throughout the country, the Study will represent the face of all of America’s children.
