Welcome to the Johns Hopkins University (JHU) Study Center for the National Children’s Study. The JHU Study Center is the administrative and research home for the Study in Maryland.
Established in the fall of 2007, the JHU Study Center is one of the Centers selected to implement the Study in various locations across the country. Montgomery County, MD begins enrolling people in the Study in 2011.
The timeline below shows some events and milestones for the JHU Study Center and the Montgomery County location.

A team of scientists, data collection experts, and staff support these efforts. The JHU Study Center combines the expertise and leadership of research organizations and community partners in the region, including the Johns Hopkins University Bloomberg School of Public Health, the Hopkins School of Medicine, the University of Maryland, Drexel University, Battelle Memorial Institute, Georgetown University, Lewin & Associates, and other agencies that are working together to conduct the National Children's Study in Maryland.
