The Montgomery County Health Department was established in 1989, received certification by the Pennsylvania Department of Health in 1991, and currently provides a full range of prevention-oriented services to the Montgomery County Community. The mission of the Health Department is “to assure the provision of services that promote, protect, and preserve the public’s health.”
Dr. Joseph DiMino, Director of Health, is a strong supporter of the National Children’s Study and feels that the Health Department will greatly benefit from the information gained in this comprehensive children’s study. “We should obtain a lot of valuable information that will help us and the country. This Study is an opportunity to assist this nation to answer vital health concerns.”
Our appreciation is extended to Dr. DiMino and his staff for their knowledge, support, and tireless efforts on behalf of the National Children’s Study. The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia Study Center looks forward to our continued relationship for the next five years while conducting the National Children’s Study in Montgomery County.
