Dr. Barbara Entwisle, Principal Investigator (PI) for the North Carolina Study Center, presented a poster, "Developing the NCS in Duplin County," at the poster session during the NCS full Steering Committee meeting in May. The NCS Steering Committee contributes to the scientific direction of the NCS.
Dr. Entwisle’s poster (PDF 2.4 mb) outlined several of the NCS team’s interaction and relationship-building in Duplin County. This included formative research in the Latino community, systematic social observation in a rural community, hospital outreach to prepare for the births of NCS children, and the Community Advisory Group.
