- January 20, 2011: a team of National Children's Study staff throws miniature basketballs to the crowds at the high school basketball game
- January 25, 2011: staff hand out neat give aways and Study information at Market Days at the Duplin Co. Events Center, 9 a.m. – 3 p.m.
- February 8-12, 2011: National Children's Study team hand out valentine's & chocolates to Duplin shoppers.
- February 22, 2011: National Children's Study attends Market Days at Duplin Co. Events Center, 9 a.m. – 3 p.m.
- February 25, 2011: National Children's Study has an information table the Come to the Table Conference
- March 4 – 5, 2011: National Children's Study will provide folks with information and give-aways at the Duplin County Business Expo

- April 2, 2011: National Children's Study sponsors an Easter Egg Hunt at the Duplin Co. Health Fair with Duplin General Hospital, Duplin Partners for Health & North Carolina Public Health
- May 14, 2011: National Children's Study handed out goodies at the Strawberry Festival in Wallace, NC
- May 20, 2011: Team National Children's Study walk in support of the American Cancer Society at the Duplin County Relay for Life.
- June 7, 2011: NCS pitches softball games for -12 year olds at the Warsaw Recreation Center.
- June 25, 2011: PFC gives away backpacks to kindergarteners with National Children's Study learning tools inside from 11 a.m. - 3 p.m. NCS has a bean bag toss!
- July 4, 2011: National Children's Study celebrates Independence Day in Duplin County. Staff played Frisbee and Corn hole with Duplin families.
- August 4, 2011: NCS distributes food and information at the USDA Food Drive!
- September 24, 2011: National Children's Study attends the Womens' Conference in Faison to empower women.
- October 8, 2011: NCS staff inform community members aboutNCS while children draw and play at 6th Annual Festival Latino de Duplin from 12:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.
- October 22, 2011: BF Grady Elementary School holds their Fall Festival! NCS hands out information to parents and fall goodies to the students.
- November 5, 2011: National Children's Study supports the troops at Warsaw's 91st Veteran's Day Parade!
- November 15, 2011: NCS conducts outreach at Red Cross Blood Drive in Pink Hill.
- December 3 and 12, 2011: NCS is ready for the Holidays! Staff participate in Rose Hill, Beulaville and Faison Christmas Parades!
