A team of researchers and survey operations experts from three North Carolina institutions are involved in the Duplin County Vanguard location. This team is working together to plan and implement the Study in Duplin County and other locations in North Carolina.
Our team includes social scientists, obstetricians (doctors who deliver babies), pediatricians (doctors who care for infants and children), other public health researchers, and experts in collecting health study information. The team will be working together to engage the communities, perform the data collection, and analyze the data to understand how to improve the health of families and their children.
