Wishing Well

The New Orleans Study Center is a proud sponsor of the Wishing Well at this year’s Audubon Zoo’s “Zoo to Do for Kids 2011” on Friday, April 29. Stop by our table to play a game, learn about the Study and how you can participate.

Louisiana Children's Museum

The New Orleans Study Center is a proud sponsor of the Louisiana Children’s Museum “Children’s World Fair” on Saturday, March 26.

Recruitment

Tulane Study Center began pilot recruitment in the Fall 2010 (September 2010).

City Council Recognition (December 2008)

The New Orleans City Council issued a proclamation recognizing the participation of Tulane University in the National Children’s Study. The proclamation was issued on December 18, 2008, at the request of Arnie Fielkow, city council member-at-large and it was signed by all members of the council. It declares, “Be it proclaimed by the council of the city of New Orleans, that this council acknowledges the outstanding achievement of Tulane University in the field of medical research, which carries forth the mission for which Tulane was originally founded and improving the lives of generations to come.” Read the Tulane New Wave News Splash story (January 7, 2009).

Selected as Study Center

Tulane University is selected as the Study Center for Orleans Parish (October 2008).
