 Welcome to the Cook County Study Location


Welcome to the Cook County Study location, part of the Greater Chicago Study Center (GCSC) for the National Children’s Study. The GCSC is responsible for conducting the Study in Cook County.

The GCSC is currently recruiting women in Cook County who are pregnant or who might become pregnant. If you are interested in taking part in the National Children’s Study and live in Cook County, Illinois, please call our toll free number at 866-315-7124.

Timeline

September 1, 2007: Greater Chicago Study Center (GCSC) awarded the National Children’s Study.

October 2008: Community Advisory Board convened.

February 10, 2010: Vanguard Study awarded to the GCSC.

July 2010: Hospital and Healthcare Engagement Community Outreach Teams established.

November 2010: GCSC launched recruitment.
